Theme

This show is idea for “Great Gatsby”, casino night, speakeasy, jazz, 1920's, flappers, art deco, gangster and supper club themes. Venue decoration and/or themed table scape design are added services we provide. 

Technical Specifications

Our tech. specs. are minimal. We request a small central performance area (or stage) 12 x 12 will work. We prefer a backstage area. For groups larger than 100, we utilize wireless microphones. The lighting cues are nominal other than one short “blackout”. We will supply one technical operator to operate our sound and lighting cues. We require A/V access to plug into the venue. 

One Fee - No Overages

There are no surprises—except the ones in the show! We operate on a negotiated upfront rate, agreed upon in advance based on your event’s specific requirements and the number of attendees. There are no overages, hidden fees, or unexpected “extras” to worry about. Your event will be assigned a dedicated Moonshine Murder producer, who will handle all the details, ensuring a smooth and stress-free experience from start to finish. Once the booking is confirmed a short agreement will be provided and a 50% deposit is required for a schedule hold. The balance is due on the event date prior to the performance. 

Cast & Crew

The cast consists of four men and three women. One technical person and one show producer will attend. Access to the space is requested for one to two hours prior to the house opening. 

About The Show

Step back in time to 1929 and prepare for an unforgettable night at The Moonshine Murder & Other Acts of Prohibition! As soon as the Luna Lounge doors open, the action begins. Arrive early to soak in the lively atmosphere of a New York speakeasy, complete with music, comfortable seating and signature cocktails crafted for the occasion. The room buzzes with bootleggers, gangsters, and flappers dancing The Charleston. But don't get too comfortable—this isn’t just any night at the club. When the music stops, someone is going to be murdered, and you’ll be right in the thick of it.

With colorful characters weaving through the audience, this is more than a show; it’s an interactive experience. Each guest can play detective (or accomplice) as much or as little as they wish. Bribes, secrets, and surprises are the currency of the evening, and every twist depends on your votes. Will the killer be unmasked, or will they get away with it? In this world of jazz, prohibition, and back-alley deals, nothing is what it seems. For the next two hours, eat, drink, laugh, and solve the crime—but remember, at the Luna Lounge, someone always ends up swimmin’ with the fishes!
